Amazon LEO — Coming Soon from Clase Connected
A New Satellite Constellation Is Heading to Sea
We are actively working towards becoming an authorised Amazon LEO reseller. Register your interest and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can offer the service.
Amazon LEO - Coming Soon
Amazon LEO low Earth orbit satellite broadband network is building a direct competitor to Starlink with over 3,000 satellites in orbit. In February 2026, Amazon signed its first maritime reseller agreements, formally opening the service to commercial shipping, offshore vessels, and the yachting market.
We’re tracking the programme closely and preparing to offer Amazon LEO as a managed maritime service. If you’re already running Starlink or VSAT onboard, LEO could become a powerful second constellation for diversity, load balancing, or failover integrated through a Peplink router just as we do today.

Low Earth Orbit 590 – 630 km altitude
Geostationary satellites sit 36,000 km away. Amazon LEO orbits 60 × closer, bringing latency down to levels comparable to fixed broadband a significant advantage for real time ship to shore applications.

Maritime specific hardware in development
The Leo Pro and Leo Ultra terminals are Amazon’s priority for maritime deployment. Both are designed to communicate with satellites passing overhead, providing consistent connectivity in challenging open ocean environments.

Native AWS integration for fleet data
A defining feature for commercial operators. Amazon LEO routes vessel data directly into AWS private cloud networks without touching the public internet valuable for fleet telemetry, remote diagnostics, and secure shoreside synchronisation.

Multi orbit diversity with Starlink and VSAT
Adding LEO alongside Starlink or KVH VSAT creates true multi constellation resilience. Managed through Peplink SpeedFusion, you get automatic failover and bonded throughput one fewer single point of failure at sea.
